百念冷如灰
霊泉洗俗埃
鳥啼天自曙
衣冷雨將來
幽樹没青靄
閑花落碧苔
悠悠歸思少
臥見白雲堆

No. 5

A hundred thoughts, cold like ash,
A numinous spring cleanses vulgarity.
Birds cry, the sky breaks dawn,
Garments cold, rain will follow.
Secluded trees sink in grey haze,
Tranquil blossoms fall on emerald moss.
At ease, thoughts of home fade,
I lie awake and watch white clouds stack.
