46. Seeing a Friend off, I come to Moto-Hakone, 3 Poems (September 1890) – No. 3

其三

客中送客暗愁微
秋入函山露滿衣
爲我願言相識士
狂生出國不知歸

No. 3

Seeing off a traveler in mid-journey, vague uneasiness wane,
Autumn falls on Mt. Hakone, dew wets our coats.
Do me this favor and tell our friends in the capital,
That I’m mad enough to leave home without knowing when to return.
