無題(大正五年十月十六日)

人間翻手是青山

朝入市廛白日閒

笑語何心雲漠漠

喧聲幾所水潺潺

誤跨牛背馬鳴去

復得龍牙狗走還

抱月投爐紅火熟

忽然亡月碧浮灣

I wave my hand to the world of men atop the green hills;

In the morning I go the market, tranquil under the bright sun.

What is the meaning of this laughter? The clouds looming.

From where are the loud voices coming? The river rushing.

Mistaken, I mount the back of an ox, the horse whinnies and escapes;

Once again, I acquire dragon teeth, the dog runs away and back.

I take the moon and toss it into the hearth, the red flames blaze;

Suddenly the moon disappears and emerald floats on the bay.
