半生意氣撫刀鐶
骨肉銷磨立大寰
死力何人防舊郭
清風一日破牢關
入泥駿馬地中去
折角靈犀天外還
漢水今朝流北向
依然面目見廬山

Half a lifetime of spirit and ardor, touching the hilt of my blade;
Now nothing but skin and bones, standing on the great earth.
With death’s power what man can defend the old city walls?
A bracing wind in one day destroyed the prison barrier.
A swift horse enters the mud and disappears into the earth;
A numinous rhino bends its horns and returns beyond heaven.
The Han river this morning flows toward north;
Its face as it was before, I see Lu Mountain.
