瞎兒何處觸機緣
青山不拒庸人骨
回首九原月在天

The Zen whack and yell I learned to bear at Engakuji,
but where does a blind pupil find enlightenment?
Green mountains do not refuse a common man’s bones;
I look back at the nine mounds, the moon sits in the heavens.
