Ready to seek quiet desolation, my lips must be sealed;
For my fondness of vast plains, I remove my old coat.
Spring ends near the heavens, I ascend the tower;
I gaze far down the skyline, the water swallows a ship sail.
Slowly grieving over grey hair and making friends with yellow tomes,
I have already returned to the green hills and can see the purple stones.
Yesterday a lone cloud disappeared into the east;
This morning its shadow fell upon the gorge of cedars.
