No. 9

An Impromptu Poem I wrote on the Road from Tōgane to Chōshi.

Wind walks the skyline, scattered clouds fly,
Rain shuts the autumn forest, tired birds come home.
Moaning wind on the road, a desolate inn at night,
The scent of the wild flowers wets my green sedge mantle.
